A Twisted Sense of Heaven

To presesnt my work I printed my piece on matte A3 paper and mounted it on some foam board. I decided to come up with a name for the picture before presentation because I felt the picture alone wasn't enough. I wanted to call it 'Film Still #1' because the photo is meant to represent a movie screenshot and its #1 because I imagined it as the opening scene. I looked online for oxymoron quotes that meant something beautiful but creepy. After looking for a while online, I eventually turned to look at quotes from 'The Adams Family', one of my favourite movies. I came across a quote ' A twisted Sense of Heaven' which I loved because heaven is seen as the perfect place you go when after you die and in my opinion the elements of the picture is my perfect aesthetic. I also liked that the quote says a 'twisted' sense of heaven as people commonly think of white clouds and a huge golden gate but this is quite different. I tested the name in different styles of typography and chose the one I thought worked best with the picture. These are the four I made, I chose to use the last one because the font is very 'The Great Gatsby' which makes me think of elegance and excitement. However looking back I'm not sure if I would still use that font of I were to present my work again. I also mounted this on some foam board and presented it just below my photo
