Deciding on a concept
After our first group meeting we had a short tutorial with Anne to discuss our documentary ideas. We each talked about what we had just researched the night before and Anne gave us feedback. I talked about my research into the hauntings at Farnham Castle and we realised that the documentary would need interviews with mediums or people involved to make up the film and it would be difficult to contact these people as there are many frauds or mediums who are uncertain, as there are many sceptical people who might be wanting to make fun of them. This made the hauntings concept seem even more difficult. Anne liked Billie's idea of 'The Hunt for the Campus Cat' as it was a light hearted and less common idea. Eventually we decided to go with this concept and after discussing we thought it would be an interesting idea to add a film noir element to the film.
