Music Video Soundtrack

For my video I wanted to choose an upbeat EDS soundtrack. I know a channel on YouTube that provides non-copyrighted music called 'NCS' (No Copyright Sounds) and I knew that they had music on their channel that I liked. NCS has music on their channel made by real artists who have decided to make their music available for use by the public. I looked through their music and made a short playlist of certain songs that I thought were interesting and could work for my video. The songs 'High' by JPB and 'Symbolism' by Electro-light were too slow and I didn't think they would be suitable for the type of energetic video I wanted to make. I thought the songs 'Force' by Alan Waker and 'Aperture' by Unison were slightly too energetic and I don't believe it would've worked with the visual. I considered using 'Stay with me' by Mendum as it is a song that I have wanted to use for something for a while and I think its quite a powerful song. Unfortunatly the song changes to dubstep after the intro and I did not want to use this genre of music for my video.The songs 'Nova' by Ahrix, 'Fade' by Alan Walker and 'Candyland' by Tobu I found to be all very similar but I like the way they all sounded. I put the full video into the Adobe Premier and played the video alongside the tracks to see which ones I thought fit the mood of the video. Candyland felt a little too sweet for the song and I wanted their to be a good beat for me to edit to. Force and Fade both sounded slightly similar but in the end I decided to use Fade as it sounds much happier and I thought it gave more life to the video.
